The previous posts on business planning have outlined the following:
- Customer needs & wants.
- How you as the business owner can resolve the needs with a unique and valuable. twist that out-performs your competitors.
- Consistently give value by being extraordinary.
- Have a creative and effective marketing funnel to keep your customers current.
- Be authentic, share your story that relates to your customers to establish humanity.
- Know your weaknesses & strengths and play to them.
- Outsource the areas in which you are weak. Use your time efficiently.
- Budget & acquire professional advice from accountants who are familiar with your type of market, and legal advice to determine professional guidelines.
- Claim your spot in your business.
- Have the confidence and knowledge that you are the expert in your field or niche.
- Do not settle for less than what you deserve. Know your value and market within it.
- Get the word out. If no one knows what, where or who you are, all the value and work you do is worthless.
So, to add to previous posts this is what I have for you:
- Continue to educate yourself and be the expert in your niche.
- Keep current on trends, conversations, news media and events that pertain to your niche.
- Be disciplined with the best usage of your time. Focus on the priorities. Keep creating value and products that monetize your income.
- Consistently provide unique customer service so you stand out from the crowd.
- Practice, practice, practice, in your delivery for getting your message out. Always be on the look out for innovative ways to market.
- Survey your customers regularly to assure you are delivering what they need.
- Know your statistics. If you aren’t making a profit you better change your strategy.
- Evaluate, review and analyze regularly so you are on top of your game.
If you lack the knowledge or confidence in a specific area, find the expert that can help. Don’t waste your time banging your head when you could be producing and providing a service that will provide you with the resources to expand your business.
Keep the professional mindset. As entrepreneurs we often get lazy, or frustrated and spin our wheels wasting time. Your business is meant to serve you. You chose your business as your passion, stay passionate about it, or move on. Be professional and you will monetize. Allow yourself to keep an open mind and trust the universe to provide you with all you desire. Create positive daily habits that keep you focused, happy and productive.
